Who Are We?

The "Northwoods Scale Model Phanatics" are an organized (ok, somewhat organized) group of gung-ho individuals in north central Wisconsin that share a common interest in building and displaying scale models. We meet once a month, have a short business meeting and the rest of the time is open for telling stories, sharing tips, showing work in progress, building, and just plain old BS. Like any other club, we have membership dues of $12.00 a year per person; the dues help defer the costs associated with attending future model contests . In addition to the $12.00 per year, we have been throwing a few dollars in the kitty each month to help build the pot, this is voluntary and not a requirement of the club.

The club consists of modelers with a variety of interests, including cars, aircraft, ships, armor, and anything else that one can make with plastic. We do have a Supreme and Most Exalted ruler, who we call President Tom Foerster, the VP is Pat Klunder , the Treasurer is Marie Foerster, and the Secretary/IPMS contact is Jim Unger. The club's usual meeting place is held at our Presidents house and we meet the 2nd Saturday of the month at 3:00 P.M.
